Justin, Lindsey's boyfriend, has younger twin sisters that are seniors in high school. One of them, Emmy, wants to be a baker and takes culinary classes half of the day. She made this awesome castle cake for Marlee.
We snacked and played around when we first got there. Raileigh wore her princess hat and munched on Chex Mix and yummy cookies that Lindsey made. My youngest sister, Jesse, mom and dad, our cousin Wendy and her daughter Haley, and lots of friends were there.
After pretty much everyone had arrived, Marlee opened presents. Really, Marlee just liked the cards, and Lindsey and Justin opened the presents :) In addition to the dress I already posted about, I made Marlee two shirts and two pairs of skinny jeans (I just took in the leg width on several pairs of preexisting jeans).
Cake time! The top layer of the castle was Marlee's cake. She was so funny while she ate it. She didn't really want to touch it with her hands, so most of the time she stabbed it with her spoon, then licked the spoon. It was so cute!
After cake, Raileigh just HAD to help Marlee try out her new toys :) Overall, we had a great time! Justin's mom was a wonderful host and Lindsey planned a wonderful party!
